Why do we suffer?

This may seem like a long list of issues, and in fact, it is. Our experience as people varies widely. The development of our relational patterns with others, and subsequently ourselves, cause different forms of psychopathology to develop in our lives. We often do not see our problems developing, but may see the portion of consequences of them in time.

Where do I start?

Psychotherapy starts with booking an assessment session. The initial assessment session is either two hours, or three hours (for trial therapy with Marcel), with the last twenty minutes for charting. Subsequent sessions are one hour, with the last ten minutes used for charting. These sessions will help better understand the purpose of coming to psychotherapy.

We provide individual psychotherapy for adolescents and adults in-person and online.

We will ask if patients are comfortable with having their sessions recorded, as we both work to review our sessions and seek out supervision to help improve our psychotherapy skills.

We work with Canadian Armed Forces and Veterans Affairs Canada members

Couples and family counseling may be available in the future.
